2023 was a year of bass lure fishing dictated by the weather patterns like no other in my experience. But where there’s adversity, you can learn and develop is my attitude and mantra. Indeed, much like 2022, the gallery below is loaded with personal achievements (including two 70cm bass all of which were successfully released as always) that saw me pushing the boundaries in relation to location, lure types and tactics. We’re always learning when it comes to these mercurial predators – which forms part of the reason why I wrote and released my third book in 2023 titled: Bass Lure Fishing – A Guides Perspective (Volume 2).
