Largest for me thus far on a ‘Creature Bait’

I just ‘knew’ there was a ‘big one’ out there with my name on it as I swished the Megabass Sleeper Craw out into a condensed zone of gravelly mud, set between the wrack, and that I’d witnessed bass sneaking through on the flooding tide in daylight…

As you see, it was a tad cold that night! Minus 2 degrees to be precise…

Indeed. After landing a bass on this spectacularly consistent lure within the latter stages of dusk (the fish above that measured 54cm). As true darkness set in, I’d literally only just muttered the words to my fishing companion that evening (my 2nd Guide Joe) “There’s a ’60’ out here Joe” that my largest bass to date, on ‘The Craw’ decided to strike…

As per my previous posts, you can listen to my account of this beautiful 62cm bass by listening to the Audio Clip below, followed by watching the release video of this majestic winter bass cruising away, seemingly none the worse for the experience:

Thanks for reading, watching, and listening!

I welcome any feedback.
