The gallery below forms a snapshot of some the more significant catches that I achieved following the pandemic lockdowns, and the subsequently delayed 2020 season – one in which the open-coast fishing in daylight was simply ‘off the scale’ in the late-spring and summer, and the estuaries fished brilliantly during the autumn. I managed to land and release 16 bass over 60cm that year, with the largest measured 71cm.
